I guess there are economic benefits to it, but it does not really go with the whole vibe of the city does it? Sadly though it is probably just a matter of time. Hopefully it will be done tastefully.
I don’t know about economic benefits, most of the big stores are multinationals so you just get low wages and profits that leave the country. In my opinion there would be some tangible benefits to Cusquenians in terms of selection and customer service.
I agree it’s probably a matter of time but I’m just not a big mall person 🙂
